Customers and the Community
We offer all our services to Newham residents. We are continuously looking to improve the quality of the services we provide and work closely with customers and families to review our service provisions. We engage with our customers when reviewing our services such as the Deaf drop-in and training, and support customers so that they are able to access the information they need.
We do outreach work with local care and community organisations to raise awareness of the support we can offer in our sensory service. We aim to increase our visibility through community and national events, to reach more people who may be in need of our service.
We are proud to be working with the Magpie Project, a Newham charity that supports mums and under-fives who find themselves in temporary accommodation. Once a week our drivers help families move furniture and deliver nappies, saving money and resources that can be spent elsewhere to improve family life.
